Daniel Miguel Alfaro joins as Executive Director of Strategic Projects, in line with the group’s growth, innovation and development of key capabilities strategy.
RDT, a leading company in global engineering and technology solutions, announces the appointment of Daniel Miguel Alfaro as Executive Director of Strategic Projects. This appointment responds to the company’s objective of strengthening the execution of its corporate strategy and accelerating the development of high-impact initiatives in industrial and technological environments.
Daniel Miguel Alfaro brings more than 20 years of experience across the energy, industrial and aerospace sectors, where he has held senior management and executive roles linked to business growth, strategic client management, technological development, transformation, and global-scale operations leadership. His career includes responsibilities at leading companies such as GMV, Altran, Alstom, General Electric, GE Vernova and Solaria, leading global and multidisciplinary organizations in highly complex contexts.
Throughout his career, Daniel has led transformation, growth and innovation initiatives with direct impact on business results, including the mitigation of €600 million in business risk across a 900 MW offshore fleet, the generation of more than $85 million in incremental annual revenue, the reduction of €200 million in quality-related costs, and the management of an annual technological investment portfolio of $20 million.
Prior to joining RDT, Daniel held the positions of Director of Hybridization and Director of Operations and Maintenance at Solaria, where he led the transformation of the renewable portfolio, as well as the operation and maintenance of a 1.8 GW solar portfolio, in addition to the development of a 12 GWh storage and 1 GW wind pipeline.
In his new role at RDT, Daniel joins the executive team with the mission of launching strategic projects that contribute to the future growth of the group. His main responsibilities include driving new business initiatives, enhancing and developing differentiated technologies, accelerating projects with industrial and market scaling potential, and strengthening strategic relationships from Barcelona, contributing to the company’s differentiated positioning.
