2006
The journey begins.
RDT is founded in Bilbao, Spain.
A team of just 10 people sets the foundation.
2007
First expansion.
RDT’s journey continues in Barcelona
2008
RDT lands in Madrid.
Consolidating its expansion and strengthening its presence across Spain.
2009
Intenance joins.
From this point forward, RDT expands its capabilities by adding a wide range of industrial asset management services to its engineering solutions.
2011
300 people make up RDT.
A growing team of professionals, united by a shared vision and commitment to engineering excellence.
2012
First international subsidiary.
RDT becomes a reality in the United Kingdom, marking the beginning of its global journey.
2013
RDT expands its horizons with the opening of its office in Morocco.
2015
RDT arrives in Mexico.
VASA joins RDT, bringing over three decades of expertise in HVAC and energy services, further strengthening our capabilities.
2016
RDT is founded in Denmark, taking its second firm step into Europe.
800 people now form part of RDT — a growing, united team driving innovation across borders.
2017
RDT reaches 1,000 employees.
RDT Lumiker joins RDT, expanding its portfolio with critical asset monitoring solutions.
2018
Axia joins the RDT project, bringing expertise in digital transformation, e-learning, and strategic consulting to further enrich our capabilities
2019
European consolidation continues with the establishment of a new subsidiary in France.
RDT broadens its portfolio of solutions by integrating a team specialised in BIM, design, and lighting.
2021
Despite the challenging circumstances during and after COVID, RDT has remained resilient and now boasts a team of over 1,300 professionals.
2022
RDT integrates the company Simullaciones y Proyectos into its organisational structure, establishing the Centre of Excellence for Computational Simulation.
Intenance Energy, specialists in air conditioning, industrial refrigeration, and energy efficiency, has been consolidated and will subsequently form the Centre of Excellence for Industrial Sustainability.
Certiorem also joins RDT, bringing in its expertise in technological services.
2023
RDT Portugal is established, marking another step forward in the company’s European expansion.
2024
The consolidation of the entire RDT corporation and its subsidiaries marks the birth of #OneRDT.
RDT now employs over 1,800 professionals.
Annual revenue exceeds €120 million.
RDT acquires consulting firm WeITGlobal, marking the first step in the consolidation of RDT Sweden.
2025
RDT acquires Taila Arquitectura Sostenible and establishes the Centre of Excellence for ESG and Sustainability.
RDT acquires energy engineering specialist Auditene, which is integrated into RDT Portugal.
PISA Proyectos de Innovación, a consultancy specialising in innovation and business management, joins RDT to form the Centre of Excellence for Innovation.
