RBOTIA Project
The RBOTIA project focuses on advancing industrial maintenance through intelligent robotics and artificial intelligence technologies. In today’s industrial landscape, maintenance remains a critical yet under-optimized activity, often based on manual and inefficient processes. RBOTIA addresses this challenge through the concept of the Smart Cyber-Factory, where maintenance becomes autonomous and predictive.
The project develops an innovative system combining autonomous robotics (ground and aerial), AI analytics, IoT technologies, and cloud-edge architectures, enabling real-time diagnosis, planning, and execution of maintenance tasks. This significantly improves efficiency, safety, and performance.
RBOTIA is funded under the HAZITEK 2025 programme and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF/FEDER). It is led by SISTEPLANT, with participation from RDT Ingenieros, driving the transition towards Industry 5.0.
